Unión forzó una tercer y definitiva final en básquetbol
Unión se quedó con la segunda final de la temporada 2023 de la Liga de Básquetbol de Florida.
En juveniles Unión es campeón al quedarse también con la segunda final venciendo a Sudamérica 55 a 45.
Pese a las inclemencias del tiempo el encuentro se disputó el pasado viernes en el Estadio 10 de Julio.
Hubo presentación olímpica de los protagonistas y triplazo por $2.000 en el entretiempo.
El triunfo de Unión fue de punta a punta, culminando 75 a 66.
Luego de haber sacado una diferencia de hasta 20 puntos Sudamérica lo trajo hasta ponerse a cinco a falta de cinco minutos, pero el equipo orientado por Matías Icazuriaga accionó y volvió a estirar la diferencia.
En el triunfador que tuvo buen porcentaje desde el perímetro se destacaron Juan Peluso, Fabián Cabrera, Mateo Orta y Luis Rondeau.
En Sudamérica el jugador que más resaltó e incluso mantuvo al equipo en competencia fue Ramiro Feria, goleador de la noche.
La primera final había culminado con triunfo de Sudamérica 70 a 67, por lo cual el viernes habrá tercera y decisiva final.
Desde la refundación de la liga ninguno de los dos equipos fue campeón, aunque si la base de Sudamérica viene de obtener varios títulos con Atlético.
En juveniles Unión se quedó con el título al vencer también en la segunda final a Sudamérica 55 a 45.
